Dr. Poddar is an astute clinician with vast clinical experience. He is one of the leading Cardiologist in Hyderabad. He has done more than 20,000 diagnostic coronary angiograms and more than 5000 coronary angioplasty and stenting procedures including complex coronary interventions like Left main coronary interventions, chronic total occlusions, bifurcation stenting, saphenous venous graft interventions. His area of interest include complex coronary interventions and structural heart interventions like TAVR and Valve in valve procedures. He has done lot of complex coronary interventions using intracoronary imaging modalities like IVUS and OCT and also used calcified plaque modulating techniques like rota ablation and Intravascular lithotripsy (IVL). He has done large number of peripheral interventions (including renal and carotid angioplasty and stenting), more than 300 permanent pacemaker implantations (including ICD and CRT implantations), numerous pediatric right and left heart cardiac catheterizations and also pediatric structural interventions like ASD, VSD, PDA and RSOV device closures.
